Tenancy Administration


Tenancy Administration Services that provide sort to medium term accommodation for women experiencing a housing crisis, and manage properties in line with Residential Tenancies Act 1997. Tenancy administration manages 110 properties and:

  • Ensuring the timely operation of WHL rent collection and arrears recovery
  • Arranging maintenance, repairs and cleaning of properties, furnishings and equipment.
  • Conducting property condition reports, tenancy sign up and exit procedures.
  • Representation of WHL in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT)
  • Coordination of general tenancy management duties in accordance with THM guidelines.
  • Liaison with OOH, contractors and real estate agents.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of assets.
  • Participate in the allocation of properties with the HIR workers and the Housing Placement worker.
  • Liaison with support agencies, tenants and HIR workers to ensure that support agencies carry out their duties as prescribed in the inter agency agreements.
  • Ensuring that tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities as prescribed in their lease and the Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Management of disputes and/or breaches under the Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Ensure properties, furnishing and fittings are maintained to the required standards
